A relaxing and replenishing floral arrangement and painting class from Artisan Florist Ailsa Vigor (Lily Loves Flora) and Artist Jess Williams (Made By Jess).

Spend a blissful two hours with us in a small intimate workshop arranging stunning autumn blooms and interpreting them in paint.

Artisan Florist Alisa will personally guide you through her process of creating bespoke floral arrangements. She will work with you to build confidence, skills and an understanding of composition and colour palette in floral design. You will create your own beautiful arrangements to take home with you.

Artist and Textile Designer Jess will then lead you in a creative, calm and playful painting class. She’ll guide you through simple tried and tested methods of painting blooms and foliage and together you will interpret your stunning floral creations in gouache paint and ink.

With a strong emphasis on self compassion we will work together to help you unlock all your wonderful creative potential. Making something beautiful with your hands is incredibly soothing; it’s a chance to have some real ‘me’ time, to connect hands and heart, to feel refreshed and to learn something new.

Our venue is the The Basement Snug in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. It is a beautifully designed calm and tranquil space tucked away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Suitable for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced creatives, we are inclusive and welcoming to all.

All the materials and refreshments will be provided. We suggest you bring an apron or a painting shirt to protect your clothing.

2-4pm.

£75 per person.

You will take away your own artfully arranged floral blooms in small glass vessels, a small collection of experimental painted floral techniques on paper and a more finalised painting on A4 canvas board. You will leave our class with the understanding and skills to arrange flowers independently and a confidence in creating artworks for your own creative pursuits.

All sales are final and due to the cost of the materials for the workshop we unfortunately cannot issue refunds if you are unable to attend due to any reason.

Lily Loves Flora

Ailsa and her Lily Loves team create beautiful seasonal bouquets, bespoke wedding florals and run workshops from their picturesque location at Beehive Hill in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

A true romantic at heart, Ailsa is inspired by nature and her surroundings, always walking, always digging and forever bringing nature into her home.

Trained in Floristry in London, Ailsa’s passion for flowers is in her heart and soul. She founded Lily Loves Flora to pass this on to others, enriching their lives by bring them closer to nature.

Ailsa has been running her ever-popular floral and wreath making workshops since 2010 and has grown a loyal and thriving following. Her teaching approach is compassionate, encouraging and gentle. Her students thrive under her calm guidance.

Jess Williams

Artist and Textile Designer Jess Williams works with an array of well known brands and clients. Providing illustrations and artworks for homewares, fashion and stationery, you can find her patterns and paintings on everything from greetings cards in Marks & Spencer to childrenswear for Nutmeg at Morrissions.

Jess is passionate about the positive mental health benefits of creating art. Her enthusiasm, positivity and real love for hand made art is infectious and sure to bring out the creative potential in any student.

She truly believes everyone has the ability to create beautiful things to uplift, inspire and delight.

Jess has been teaching drawing, painting and printed textiles to students at Birmingham City University since 2012.
